What a gift removes
If a barrier stands between a young person and their potential, our responsibility is to remove it.
The Institute does not earmark a gift to any one Future Leader or line item. Every gift is pooled and applied where the Board has determined it is needed most, funding whole commitments rather than individual expenses. In practice, gifts of every size are what make it possible to say yes to things like:
- A ride to practice when there is no ride.
- A tutor before the exam that decides a scholarship.
- Equipment that fits, not whatever is left over.
- The campus visit a family could not otherwise afford.
- Elite coaching and mental-health support alongside the athletics.
- A professional mentor and, later, an internship or introduction.

Tax status
The Coach Wren Institute is in the process of being established as a Florida nonprofit corporation and will seek recognition as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Contributions made before federal tax-exempt status is granted may not be tax-deductible. Donors should consult their tax advisors.
